The body copy of the email included 7 marks including duplicates of what was in the subject line plus Citi Mobile® App or Citi® Online.

This is what happens when lawyers have undue influence on the communications team.

Sure, I understand that a company needs to protect its trademarks and those of its partners. But can’t that be done in the fine print at the bottom of the email?

Why does communications need to get all legal in the subject line and body copy of the communications?
