Why a WordPress Site Blog is an Author’s Best Friend

Do you have a WordPress site blog? I certainly hope so.

The value that WordPress websites bring to authors is WordPress site blogimmense, especially in the art and science of blogging.

I might be a bit biased, considering my website is WordPress (developed by SuburbanBuzz.com). As an author myself, as well as a book editor, ghostwriter, and literary marketer, I’m not sure how I could reach local, national, and international clients without the power of a WordPress blog!

Your WordPress Site Blog Can Be Incredibly Effective  — And Here’s Why

Yes, my blog posts are full of interesting, helpful, and original content and keep my website active (as opposed to stagnant). Search engines love news and consider blog posts to be news as long as the content is optimized properly and offers fresh and useful information.

Bloggers become established as authorities and subject matter experts through consistent, purposeful, and professional blogging. It’s also how websites begin to rank.

And never fear…if you don’t have the time, inclination, or training necessary to effectively blog, I’m here to help. I greatly enjoy blogging for authors and business owners as part of my writing and editing services. It’s challenging, fun, collaborative, and gets results!

Your WordPress site blog is a powerful marketing tool that feeds search engines and draws traffic to your website. Meaning, visitors land on your book.

Popular for a Reason

After working in other content management systems (CMS) — Drupal, Joomla, and Wix — I’m grateful for the creative options that WordPress offers. And I’m especially thankful for WordPress’s SEO tools and plugins that elevate my blogging to the next level.

But don’t take my word for it. According to Digital Guide Ionos, WordPress has a 64.1% market share in the realm of CMS, as opposed to 2.0% for Drupal, 2.7% for Joomla, and 2.9% for Wix.

Note that my WordPress site was professionally developed and includes a lot of bells and whistles above and beyond the free WordPress version. I left the programming to my web guru, and wrote and optimized the content myself. After all, writing and editing are my bread and butter, and my heavily optimized and populated website and blog have grown with me. It brings me projects from the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe.

And that’s how I can assist you. As a content creator and SEO writer, I populate my author clients’ WordPress sites with keyword-rich, optimized pages and blog posts. My mission is to feed the search engines and draw traffic. With effort, concentration, and skill, it IS possible to optimize every page in a menu (usually excluding the contact page), and certainly every blog post.

Yes, authors can populate their own sites if they have the technical know-how. It’s not just a matter of narratives. It’s a matter of understanding how search engines work, how keywords work, and how content must appeal to website visitors AND the spiders, crawlers, robots, and bots that search for online news.
