Last week I was involved in a number of conversations with readers about blog post length and whether it was better to write long posts or short ones. My short answer to the question was to write ‘useful’ posts, and to use as many words as were necessary to do so. What About Series of Posts?

Long-Form and Short-Form Content Long-form content refers to posts and articles that are more than 1000 words (2000-3000 on average). Short-form content should have a target word count of 300–600 words. There are plenty of other uses, too.
