31, 2017, I “retired” from marketing and took a sabbatical for 2018 (which, as of this publishing, I’m still happily on). The team at CMI is nice enough to publish this so the entire CMI audience can watch and read it. In January, I spent 30 days electronics free. Before that, I was at Distilled, which is an international digital marketing agency, and I ran the Seattle office there for over a decade. People like my friend Rand Fishkin, the founder of Moz, used to do correlation studies that would discover what factors seem to correlate with rankings, and we'd publish these kinds of reports.
