In years four and five I added a few more income streams to my repertoire, the first being direct ad sales. AdSense – 8%. Not at all.

November 2002 – I get an email from a friend that says, check out this blog. Direct ad sales – Advertisers were targeted my site. I knew Google took a cut, so I reached out directly to advertisers. $20 Added other advertising networks. ProBlogger Book Published by Wiley. 20 a month on first one.

We have our 12 days of Christmas sale and our mid year/summer sale. On dPS we offer sponsorships to advertisers who want to work directly with our audience. There was just almost no comprehension back in 2002 what a blog was, at least here in Australia. It ’ s a couple of months ago that I published that.
