The chart above is from a study conducted by SerpIQ in 2012 showing the word count length of highly-ranked blog posts. This is simply not true.

People are arriving on it and seeing the date 2012, and they’re seeing information that perhaps isn’t as relevant for them and they’re bouncing away at a higher rate.
