Seema Mahanian joins Pamela Dorman Books as senior editor and reports to Dorman. After three decades at Random House , Benjamin Dreyer , VP, executive managing editor and copy chief, will retire in December. Andrew Albanese has been promoted to executive editor. She started as an interior designer for Bantam Books.

Editors today frown on excessive exclaiming even in mainstream fiction, outside of books for young children and comic books. However, in similar passages in the same book, the writer (or editor) might opt for the extra oomph: “Do it because you’re human!” Creative License. I screamed. Change her mind!

I first heard about Constant Content in 2017 from a friend of mine who was working as the lead copy editor at a large online retailer. At the time, they were hiring internal copywriters and copy editors, and I passed their copywriter test. I’m still working on projects for Constant Content, all these years later.
